Millie stayed with Nicole for the first time last weekend and it definitely won't be the last! Millie has severe arthritis, spinal problems, and a few other health issues that come with being a lady of a certain age! She has been boarded in kennels before but with her now advanced needs it felt like a calmer more personal environment would suit her better. The personal attention, opportunity to potter around the garden at her leisure and sleep on orthopaedic beds was just what this lady needed! (not to mention her doggy ice cream and personal fan!) Can't recommend Nicole and Lucy highly enough!

Heidi had the best time staying with Nicole for three nights, I was sent plenty of "pupdates" and photographs of her having a great time with lots of tummy rubs and a huge bed to relax in. As we had built up to an overnight stay through daycare Heidi settled in for this trip right away! It was so reassuring to know that she was being showered with love while we were away.

From the first day at our meet and greet I knew Tilly would be extremely well looked after, Nicole treated Tilly like her own dog from the start. She kept us updated with great pictures and videos over the week. When I picked up Tilly she was so happy and content. Tilly will definitely be back as she had the best time and we were so happy with how she was looked after and cared for.

Dougal had been for a few days of daycare with Nicole and got on great but he has now just come back from a 3 night stay and to say we are delighted is an understatement! He is a pampered pooch who likes his own space but he got on amazing and even made a friend, Nicole sent lots of updates and pics. Knowing he was doing so well and being so well looked after meant we could relax and enjoy our weekend away. Thanks Nicole and Lucy! See you soon

We've looked at a lot of places before we found "Lucy in the sky with Barry's" and we were so impressed with Nicole and her whole process! Our pup is 13 years old, mostly blind with bad arthritis that leaves him with sore hips. He likes a quiet life so we loved the fact that Nicole would only have a max of three other dogs with him, plus it is a home away from home not a basic dog kennel, perfect for our pup! We did a meet and greet and some days of daycare for Nicole to get to know Rup. It was great seeing the area - its all ground level and cosy with a fantastic garden to explore - super peaceful. During Rupert's week-long stay Nicole kept us fully updated on how it was all going and managed all of his eye drops and medication with no issues and Rupert definitely loved it! Especially the variety of beds and heated mats for him to relax on. When he got home in the end he was very chilled out like he had been at a spa, it was so lovely to see. Thanks so much for taking fantastic care of our pup!

On our first visit our younger dog was wee bit nervous, but each time we visited since the two dogs happily went straight through the gate, clearly they have come to feel comfortable with Nicole. She also did her bit to keep us humans happy too by sending photos to reassure us that the dogs were relaxed and comfortable. We will be leaving our dogs with Nicole again in the future, knowing that while we enjoy a few days away, the dogs are being well looked after and are having a nice break away too.

Nicole is one of those beautiful souls who make the world a better place just because she is in it. The joyful calm space she has created to look after our pets is just an Oasis, I would happily recommend Nicole to anyone. She adores animals particularly dogs and understands them instinctively and compassionately. Compassion is in abundance for the owners too as Nicole understands how hard it is for us to leave them. Communication is excellent with lovely updates and photos throughout fur babies stay. Rosie adores Nicole and is always excited when she realises where she is going to visit.

I'm so happy to have found the right place to board Dolly! Doll is such a gentle soul and loves her home comforts so conventional kennels are not suitable for her, she is also very nervous of new people. At the initial meet and greet I felt good about the set up and Doll was happy sniffing around the garden. Following a few daycare days Doll had settled enough to try an overnight. Thankfully all went well and I am now booking my first holiday abroad in 4 years knowing Dolly will be in good hands! Nicole has been great giving Dolly lots of space and building up their relationship slowly and sending me lots of updates. Hopefully after a week-long stay she will finally get some Dolly Cuddles!

I was so relieved and happy to find Nicole to look after Ruby. After our trial we booked Ruby in for an overnight . We totally enjoyed our night away knowing that Ruby was safe and loved getting to know her new friends. We had lots of lovely photos and updates from Nicole throughout. When we picked Ruby up, happy and content that we had found her a lovely home away from home. Thank you.

Minnie became paralysed due to IVDD in April 2024, it took a whole year for me to adjust to her complex needs and get to a place where I was ready to trust someone else to care for Minnie. I contacted numerous vet practices across N/Ireland but none knew of anyone who had experience looking after dogs like Minnie who required bladder and bowel expressions throughout the day. I needed to find someone who was willing to take on the challenge and when I met Nicole I knew she was the right person for Minnie! Minnie had her first weekend away with Nicole at Easter which allowed us to have a much needed break with our young kids for the first time in over a year! Nicole sent me lovely updates and made me feel so at ease while we were away and this felt like a pipe dream a year ago. Nicole is an asset to all dog owners and even more so, those who are faced with the challenges of IVDD.

Nicole is a fantastic dog sitter, she is very knowledgeable about dog behavior including breed specific peculiarities. She is really caring and careful with our dog and communicates with us perfectly.We are really happy with sending our dog to Nicole for daycare and our dog loves to go! She gets a full day of attention, exercise and socialisation with other dogs so it is a real bonus to her life.

I'm sure you know the kind of dog sitter who doesn't pay all the attention your dog deserves and who cancels at the last minute. . . well Nicole is just the opposite of that! She is reliable, loving with the dogs, attentive to the dynamics among them so that every dog has a good time, our dog loves going to Nicole and we totally recommend her!

Nicole is AMAZING, Mishko warmed to her lovely nature instantly and he can't wait to spend every Tuesday and Wednesday with her. Nicole is not only extremely reliable and trustworthy but it is so clear to see that she truly loves what she does and all the dogs in her care. I love seeing how happy Mishko is after spending a day with Nicole and her lovely dogs! If you need someone to mind your fur baby Nicole is definitely the one!

From the first moment Nicole met MJ it was like she was one of her own dogs! She was incredibly warm and friendly and you can tell she has a real love for animals.MJ is a dog with complex needs and allergies and Nciole exceeded our expectations while looking after her. She sent us loads of pictures and videos of how much they were getting on and overall made us feel at ease that MJ was being well cared for! MJ can't wait to go back to see Barry, Lucy and of course Nicole again soon.

Our dog is too scared to stay with strangers due to trauma he suffered before his adoption, but Nicole gave him the best care, a lot of love and a really great time! He absolutely fell in love with her, Barry and Lucy! Our dog doesn't want to leave her place anymore and we will see her on a weekly basis! Thank you very much Nicole!

After Nicole welcomed my 1 year old dog into her pack for an extended stay, we booked his next vacation straight away! Nicole, Lucy and Barry are all so considerate and caring not to mention tons of fun! As a frequent traveller, I am happy to have found such a trustworthy and responsible pet sitter, and Cookie is thrilled with his new home away from home!

When I left my dear Heike with Nicole I felt so calm and certain that she was in safe, caring hands. She sent photos of her and I didn't worry for one second. Nicole sure knows her stuff and is a great presence for a dog to be around!

I hate leaving Mia, I felt so guilty when I couldn't bring her with me this weekend but after getting the photos of her playing with you and your family Nicole , i felt so relieved! Nicole was heaven sent! After only having my rescue greyhound Nali for two weeks I had to attend a wedding and felt very anxious about leaving her with a friend as I didn't know how she would react and so was very relieved to be recommended Nicole! Nicole assured me that everything would be fine and she was right! Nali had the best doggy day with Nicole, Barry and Lucy. Besides cute photos and updates Nicole also gave me great tips on caring for a rescue sighthound! I am so grateful and can totally recommend Nicole Barry and Lucy to any dog parents. They are loving, caring and a lot of fun clearly as Nali was ready for bed after her day with them!

My dog Masha spent 10 days with Nicole only a month after we had adopted her. It wasn't ideal for me to leave her so soon but Nicole was so excellent with her and she had the best time. Nicole also helped me with tips on how to look after a newly adopted pup which I was so appreciative of! On top of that Nicole's certification in pet first aid allowed me to feel calm in the knowledge Masha was in safe, caring hands and that is priceless!

We have never left Honey anywhere before apart from with family as she is a rescue and can be anxious so we were reluctant to leave her in a kennel by herself. Nicole was reccomended to us and we are delighted to have found somewhere for Honey to stay. Honey was more than happy to return to Nicoles after her first time at daycare, it takes the stress and guilt away from going on holiday as you know she is happy and well cared for. Nicole was so calm and took time to get to know Honey and her personality. She sent regular updates and photos. Honey was certainly enjoying herself. It was great that she was able to socialise with Barry and Lucy. Thanks so much Nicole for taking care of our precious Honey, looking forward to her next visit!
